I run Photo Resizer in KB as a solo developer and writer. Every tutorial, preset guide, and help article reflects hands-on testing with the actual tool and the upload portals I cover. This page explains how I research, review, and maintain the content so you know what to expect.

How I research topics

Each article starts with real user pain points—support emails, exam circulars, or community requests. I confirm file-size requirements by reviewing official documentation, contacting help desks when necessary, and replicating the workflow in staging accounts. Any third-party tip is cited in the article or linked for transparency.

Testing methodology

  • Every preset is validated in Chrome, Firefox, and a Chromium-based mobile browser.
  • I test exports against real upload validators (exam portals, visa systems, ATS tools) before recommending settings.
  • All screenshots and step lists are regenerated after major UI changes so they always match the current product.

Keeping content fresh

I schedule an editorial sweep every quarter and immediately update guides when portals change their specs. Significant revisions trigger a new "Last reviewed" date in the article frontmatter so you can see when a guide was refreshed. Deprecated advice is removed rather than kept for SEO purposes.

Corrections and feedback

If you spot an error or a workflow changes, email photoresizerinkb@gmail.com. I verify the report within 48 hours and update the post as needed, noting the change in the article so returning readers know what changed.
